This afternoon my dog Licorice was laid to rest.  She was an animal shelter rescue who quickly became a deeply loved member of our family.

She was a friendly, playful, loyal friend, and she will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to be in her company.

I’ll miss you, my little black dog.
